'SEARCH' is an acronym for "Society for Extension, Awareness, and Research of Clairsentient Happenings"-- but the word 'search' itself describes our purpose much more simply.

Are you searching for answers on ESP, holistic health, Eastern and Native American spirituality, metaphysical principles such as karma and reincarnation?  More to the point, are you searching for others in southeastern Minnesota inquiring into the same questions?

Well, congratulations, because you just found us!

We are an incorporated, nonprofit study group which meets monthly for the purpose of exploring a variety of metaphysical and spiritual topics across the entire range of objective-- and more importantly subjective-- experience.

'SEARCH' is about 38 years old as of 2011.  It began in 1972 when a group of people took a class about paranormal psychology at a local college.  When the class was finished...the students were not.  They decided to bring in speakers to continue their education into the paranormal.  One of the original members was a middle age farm wife who had an out of body experience one summer morning (in the early 1970's) while sleeping on her screen porch.  She astral traveled around her farm as well as neighboring farms seeing items on the ground from the vantage point of an eagle.  She was hooked. That farm wife and several of those original members have now transitioned on to spirit realms.

Over the years we have had a large variety of speakers.  Some of our recent speakers have been about Atlantis, Lemuria, Angels, Shamanic & Native American topics from soul retrieval to pipe making, Herbalogy and Animal Communication.  Many of our past speakers are featured in our "Local Resource" section.
